I once filmed here and got busted

a week ago, these were apparently completely unlocked, i took my dad up to the top floor for a view of DCA. they run extremely smoothly, but do not classic level at all anymore (feels weird to wait like you would on an older kone). the left car still is *extremely* loud (albeit smooth as butter), right (503) runs dead silently, and the third car is still shuttle/service. didn't get to film them, hopefully they're still unlocked the next time i want to pay $20 for parking here

Wow, that’s pretty ridiculous for what they’ve done. They should’ve just left you alone since you were complying and leaving. Getting the FBI involved over riding elevators was completely unnecessary and very much wasted resources.

Nice vid, I used to work at mercy hospital for 8 years in EVS department, and I got to witness them renovate these very elevators. They basically redid them one by one. Before the colors, most of the elevators at mercy letters, these used to be the “E2” elevators.

I think the chime got replaced at some point. Still, awesome elevator either way!

first I love it

I saw this one as well! This one I for surely wanted to film because I had the chance, but unfortunately didn’t have my camera and low storage on my phone :(. I could’ve used my mom’s phone, but decided not to as we weren’t in the area for very long. This one is definitely neat, I would’ve loved to have filmed it while I was here almost 5 years ago. However, if I come back in the future, I will definitely film this elevator and the other two I saw in the roller coaster platforms.

I saw this one too when I went here in 2019! However, I just got off the skyride when I saw this one and we were rushing down the ramp so I couldn’t film this one even if I wanted to. I didn’t have my camera with me and my phone was low on storage space at the time so I couldn’t have filmed it even if I had the chance. The only way I could’ve filmed it (and the other one) was if I used my mom’s phone. However, it is still a nice elevator and runs well. The call button was MAD BS when I passed this one too.

I saw this one when I went here back in 2019! I wanted to film it, but my mom made me leave my camera in the car because she said I wasn’t going to need it :(. I believed her because I really didn’t think Busch Gardens was going to have elevators, until I saw this thing… Then I thought it would be a little risky to ride and film it since it goes up to a roller coaster platform, but yet, I still had a desire to film it anyway! When I saw Elevating Western PA’s video of this, I learned that I had nothing to worry about so I definitely could’ve film this one :(. I was upset, as I still am a little bit to this day, but it’s not that bad because I’m not missing a whole lot. It’s just a basic, but rather large 330A. I still think the blue cab is nice though as it is not seen on too many 330As.

since this video was recorded, the bowlero is open on the first floor immediately to the right of the elevator (from the outside), crate & barrel/arhaus is on the second floor, and cmx cinebistro on the third floor (3M), with new kone escalators connecting 3 to 3M. numerous montgomery escalators were being repaired by kone as well

I’ve been on these elevators so many times and I found them to be very unreliable. Sometime the elevator makes a strange movement and jolts. In addition when doing a full ride the leveling on this elevator is really bad. One time I almost thought that I got stuck. Honestly Westfield needs to replace these elevators completely.
